Denny Laine
We are very proud to be able to present to you on our Manifest label, one of England’s most respected song writer and performer, Denny Laine. Denny Laine was of course the third person in “Wings”, which also featured Paul and Linda McCartney, and was with the group from beginning to end. He occasionally wrote for the band as well, being co- writer with Paul of the probably biggest hit they ever had, Mull Of Kintyre. Before Wings, Denny was also a member of the Moody Blues, having played on their early albums. Since the demise of Wings, Denny has been steadily recording and releasing various solo albums, as well as touring England with his band.

His second release on MT, this CD features new versions by Denny Laine of Wings tracks (plus one or two other covers as well!) that Denny helped make famous. Compiled especially by the Manifest Records staff for German release, this CD is a collection of the best tunes from various Denny Laine releases that until now have only been available in England. A fine collection of 14 melodic and contemporary tracks, standouts include the title track “In Time”, “Go Now” (which was a big early hit for the Moody Blues when Denny was still in the band), and “Send Me The Heart”, a duet with the one and only Paul McCartney! A beautiful and tasteful full color cover complements this special release.
