Started by the Lord of Lonsdale, Lonsdale
quickly became a name synonymous with boxing and, later, boxing clothing. In
the Oi and Ska scene, Lonsdale has been a clothing legend for decades. In association
with Lonsdale of London, eMpTy Records is proud to present Lonsdale Records,
devoted to Oi, punk and ska music. Besides the two samplers, Lonsdale has also
released records by both Cock Sparrer and The
Penetraitors.

first on our subsidiary label Lonsdale, this one is devoted to street punk,
featuring some of the most renowned bands from the Oi and streetpunk scene,
offering many of their most heralded street hymns.
The
second sampler and also second release on Lonsdale, this sampler is devoted
to pure ska music, and like the streetpunk sampler Box Or Be Boxed, it features
many of the most renowned and important ska artists, as well as a few important
newcomers to the ska scene.
